Subject: Good bye to Thang

Dear all,
As all of you know, 15th June will be the last day of Thang with Pact Vietnam team after a year being with us. Thang will soon be joining CESVi, who is very close to Pact, with a new role as Project Officer and serving Hai Phong - his hometown. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Thang for all wonderful and dedicated contribution that he has made to Pact in general and C&T team in particular. Our team can not survive without his day-to-day solid and patient support. I wish Thang all the best and good luck in his new adventure.
I know that Thang already “do it” to all of us last week, but do hope that we will have more chance to “do it again” and enjoy his amazing voice before he leaves (and of course, after, if any chance). Good luck and all the best to Thang. I am sure he will be missed by all of us

Thang! One of my first memories of you is as my secret friend in Hoi An last year. I felt so fortunate to have been assigned the sweet "new kid on the block," and to be able to celebrate your arrival as part of our team. You have a special spirit that will be greatly missed. I wish you every success as you embark on your next adventure back in your home town.

Warmly,

Diana

Em Thang,

I am going to miss you dearly - an young guy, who is very hard working, dedicated, calm and honest, who has such a sweet voice singing Vietnamese and English love songs and certainly has been selected as a star singer in every karaoke session. Last but not least, you were also shining at the catwalk talent show :->!!!

Wish you the best of luck and great success in your future adventures.

I feel sad to say goodbye to you, anh Thang. You are one of the first people to welcome me in PACT, always “care and support” me all the times.
I will miss your patience and great effort to support us in all kinds of activities!

It is pity that I did not “do it” with you last week, but I do believe we will always have chances. CESVI is very close to PACT and until now, Iam still in charge of World Vision (so I will come to Hai Phong) :D

Good luck for the new adventure, anh Thang!

My friend Ben

As you may know from my previous entries that I have one Canadian friend named Ben, who used to be my colleague in the ILMC project in Thanh Hoa in 2005-2006 and now Ben and his son are living and working in Hanoi.

The world is so small that Benoit and his son's reunion to Vietnam is still incredible to me.

And it is a coincidence that during their return to Hanoi, Vietnam, I was also offered a job in Hanoi. So was Duong. That was a really nice and suprising coincidence...

Benoit oi, thank you so much for everything that you have done for me. I hope one day you and your son will visit me in Hai Phong... and in a near future I will see you in Canada (This is realizable, isn't it?).

Wish you all the best...
